After studying economics in Cologne, Uwe Haas started working as a composer, musician and music producer.
He released numerous CDs, realized compositions for silent movies including commissional work for the Czech National Film Archive and produced music for TV films and documentaries, e.g. the Grimme Award nominated documentary “The War in Vietnam” and feature films like “Ghosted” by Monika Treut, for which he also created the sound design. Uwe Haas has continuously developed his distinctive and experimental electro-acoustic musical language for over two decades.
This development has brought him to projects such as feldneun and field, but also working under his own name for the Japanese label aiding, as well as collaboration with Tokyo-based composer and media artist Hideaki Takahashi.
The new feldneun CD “then on from there” , which was produced in cooperation with pianist and keyboardist Jörg Hochapfel, is released on aiding records, Tokyo Japan.
